Description:

First New York FCU is seeking a candidate as an Administrative Assistant for the CEO. Candidate will also assist the Marketing Department with various tasks and support the members of the Senior Management team. Will maintain the day-to-day clerical, organizational and office needs of the CEO. Strong communication skills are necessary.

Duties:

Duties will include interaction with lobby visitors, vendors, team members, board members. Will coordinate setup/clean up for internal events, registration for chamber events/seminars/conferences and will schedule events for the Community Room with outside groups. Will create and maintain monthly reports as assigned and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Duties will include the responsibility for incoming and outgoing mail distribution. Reliable, professional and confidential support is highly expected. Strong computer and written and oral communication skills necessary. Must exhibit a desire to learn and grow professionally. Previous experience in a business office setting required.

Qualifications:

Strong computer skills required - knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel required; Design software and database helpful.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Creativity a must and design skills helpful.

Professionalism and confidentiality expected

Desire to learn and grow professionally as position requires.
