Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for a B2B Product Marketing Specialist.

The successful candidate will develop, execute and manage the Credit Union’s B2B product & service marketing efforts to drive the Credit Union’s strategic initiatives, goals and objectives.


Develops and executes tactical product & service promotion plans for HVFCU’s product and service offerings for B2B members in accordance with overall growth strategies. This includes, but is not limited to campaign planning, campaign/creative brief development of marketing materials, offers of credit, special pricing and other incentives, member and non-member targeting, identification of the appropriate internal marketing mix that effectively supports promotions and the communications of these activities to staff.
2.Participates in, and leads cross-functional teams that address B2B product gaps that differentiate and position the HVFCU brand against the competitive arena. Explores marketing solutions that drive the development of new products/services and usage of same. Develops a business case analysis to present findings, offering a recommendation on which new products and service to pursue.
3.Works closely with the Marketing Research Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to define target markets, audiences, measure results, and integrate promotions into the marketing mix. Tracks and analyzes promotion performance and overall product competitiveness. Maintains close working relationships with key stakeholders in retail, lending, business, investment, insurance, finance, operations, IT and compliance to remain current on products and services needs and plans as well as organizational, financial and regulatory capabilities.
4.Responsible for developing sales support collateral (sales toolkit) utilized by Business Loan Officers, branch managers, FSR’s and others that impact B2B sales.
5.Maintains a deep understanding of economic, demographic, behavioral and competitor trends that may influence promotional plans and new product development within their assigned products/services. Shares & integrates this information and data to peers and business partners on a regular basis.
6.Contributes to the budget process by identifying marketing expenses necessary to support the marketing plan for each of the products and service offerings assigned.
7.Maintains strong vendor relationships to ensure on-time delivery, cost containment and high quality/accuracy of finished products.
8.Participates in all required and recommended training, including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrates attained knowledge. Actively pursues and satisfactorily completes development plans.
9.Adheres to all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulatory agency requirements. Embraces and applies the Credit Union’s mission, vision and core values to all activities and responsibilities. Successfully implements the HVFCU Sales and Service Success Model when interacting with internal and external members.
10.Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed required.
2.Previous experience in financial services and Marketing required.
3.Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services marketing with a B2B marketing background preferred.
4.A minimum of 3 years digital marketing experience with preferred experience in pay-per-click advertising and digital display advertising.
5.Previous experience with spreadsheet (Excel), presentation (PowerPoint) and other PC-based software required.
