Description:

The Recruiting and Training Team is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, career minded individual to join a team of creative professionals dedicated to improving the lives of our members, their families, and our communities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring we hire the best possible talent and delivering critical development opportunities to employees while demonstrating a passion and drive to deliver the Standard of Excellence.

Duties:

Continuously develops, coordinates and enhances onboarding and training programs for all employees to achieve excellence in member service by maximizing their potential for upward mobility;
• Proactively collaborates with training leader and team leaders to assist in the development of tools to document and evaluate retention of training such as role plays, training manuals, workbooks, audio-visual aids, etc.;
• Regularly ensures overall success of training efforts by assisting in analyzing and determining training needs to support Northern’s objectives for outstanding member service, enhanced productivity and individual/team development;
• Continuously collaborates with the Training and Development team to develop long and short term initiatives for the department; and
• Effectively reports overall findings to appropriate leaders on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree (Bachelors preferred) with 2-5 years of progressive experience in a related position required;
• Proactively serves as a role model and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, high energy and brings determination and passion in positioning internal owners for career success;
• Must be a dedicated, selfless, caring and competitive team player that consistently demonstrates a tendency of putting the success of the team and needs of our members ahead of their own;
• Must possess exceptional relationship building, communication and time management skills;
• Has working knowledge of financial institution products and services and the benefits/features associated with them; and
• Full working knowledge of broad range of PC based software programs including Microsoft Suite.
