We are seeking a Lending Center Professional:
The Lending Center is seeking a dynamic, solutions oriented professional with a proven track record for building strong relationships to join their team; which is dedicated to improving the lives of our members, their families, and communities. The Lending Center Team is a centralized group of experienced lenders that provide members with consultative support and lending solutions through video conference, web and telephone (inbound and outbound) delivery channels. The successful candidate will bring:

The ideal individual will have the ability to perform job duties proficiently and, through a highly consultative sales approach, to ensure quality of service through video conferencing;
Effectively engage members in lifestyle conversations and counsel them regarding the products and services that best suits their needs and on the benefits of an expanded relationship with Northern;
Utilizes account or loan applications, credit bureau reports and conversations to identify opportunities to help members achieve their goals through refinanced loans held internally and by other institutions;
Effectively identifies, recommends, and/or negotiates alternative lending solutions;
Explains reasons for loan denial and explores alternative options to help members when loans are denied;
Proactively refers solid prospects to internal business partners including Home Lending, Investments and Insurances, etc., as opportunities present themselves; and
Effectively assists with outbound calls by utilizing lists/promotions/reports/triggers of members and non-members to educate members, expand their relationships with Northern and recruit new member relationships.
The ideal candidate will:

Possess a high level of interpersonal communication, both verbal and written;
Demonstrate exceptional relationship building skills, problem solving and time management skills;
Work well independently as well as in a team environment;
Effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations;
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace, high energy environment;
Proficiency with PC software with an ability to learn multiple computer programs; and
Have an Associated degree combined with 2 or more years of lending related experience.
