Duties: |
We are currently seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to join our team in our Purchase, New York headquarters. Responsibilities of this position include:
• Supporting all third party and in-house applications and managing daily operation to support business needs.
• Acting as the technical liaison between users, vendors, and IT.
• Assisting with vendor management on assigned applications.
• Managing application-related Helpdesk requests.
• Managing and coordinating the day-to-day functioning of the daily processes on assigned applications.
• Adhering to the goals and standards set forth by the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Providing project management to smaller application development efforts.
• Providing business analysis and process management to end-users.
• Analyzing and documenting problems, recommending solutions, and initiating corrective action.
• Following up on problem resolution and informs clients of status.
• Testing and communicating system updates on assigned applications.
• Writing procedures and policies, and recording system changes for troubleshooting and auditing.
• Keeping abreast of operations and the computer systems to provide comprehensive support.
• Reviewing application logs and helpdesk tickets to identify trends and provide recommendations to management.
• Documenting/tracking application enhancement needs by proactively interviewing staff to identify needs.
• Driving application enhancement including analysis, design specifications, and user acceptance.
• Serving as information resource for client users, including determination of most appropriate data source, providing or arranging application-based report writing, or educating users to retrieve the information through front end query tools.
• Educating end users through participation in users groups, and writes articles for internal distribution.
• Training/developing other Application Analysts.
• Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications: |
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Business Administration or 5-10 years of financial application support/consulting experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated high level understanding of installed applications and successful IT project delivery.
• Project management coursework valued; leadership experiences a plus.
•Summit/Spectrum experience highly preferred.
